NEW MOON CIRCLES
A New Moon marks the beginning of a new cycle, a fresh start in its cycle of waxing and waning. The sky becomes dark. She is empty and receptive. This space holds all the potential magic for the month to come! This is the best time to plant seeds of intentions for what you wish to bring forth in your life.
The Moonless nights and the dark sky remind us that this is a time for turning inward as we pull away from the every day bright lights and go..go..go.. We are not only allowing our bodies the rest we need to stay healthy but we also open the door to looking deeper inside. Consider that in order to maintain good health we need balance. Balance between how much we give and how much we take. Balance between the light and the dark, the sun and the moon, and the masculine and the feminine. We are currently living in a world that's extremely masculine (bright, sun, fire, energy). If we stay in this state all the time we will burn out like a fire that slowly loses it's fuel. We will not only lose our resilience if we keep striving to stay in the light but we also risk loosing touch with the darkness. The dark is the feminine (cool, moon, water, restore). It is where all the potential lies to bring forth and create everything you are meant to do and dream of in this world. By taking the time to turn in and rest every month we honor our bodies natural cycle and balance is restored.
New Moon circles provide an opportunity to take the time to create SACRED SPACE for ourselves. There is something so powerful when women come together to support each other on their journey. We are healed, we are nurtured, we are comforted, and we are understood. Sharing sacred space together magnifies the power of your intention and we energetically create a web of support for not only our circle of women but with women everywhere.
This circle is facilitated in collaboration by Jana Stettner, Christine Borschneck and Sonja Harrison.
We are following the wisdom of the old ways, weaving women together, and supporting each other. This creates a whole new path of potential that is better then what you could have attained on our own.
We would love for you to join us. Come every New Moon or when you feel you need some extra love. You are always welcome! Bring your journal and pen. There will be time for writing and sharing. We also welcome anything you want to bring to the alter.
